It isn't wise to use a firearm while under the influence because it will not keep you or your companions safe.
3.  Never hunt alone and without the communication devices like two way radio. Always have someone else with you or hunt with a group. The mobile phones could be out of service. It is important to have communication devices to call for help and emergency rescue!  This will protect you in case of an accident, having someone else with you to call for help if needed is vital.
  4.Treat every weapon including rifles, shotguns, guns, pistols, bow and arrows, knifes as if they were loaded.  This means always carry them secure holding with both hands while pointing the barrels in a safe direction(sky or ground).  Do not put your finger on the trigger unless you are focused on the right target and prepared to shoot. Watch the movements of other hunters that could get under your shot. Making this a habit would keep you and your hunting partners safe.
  5. Maintain your hunting firearms, other equipment in good working order and check the proper operation regularly.  Do not take the malfunctioning weapons of any kind with you from the storage to go hunting. Check the proper operation at the firing range before each season. Mulfuctioning equipment that isn't well maintained would be a hazard to yourself and everyone around you. Dispose in the timely manner from the old unsafe junk weapons according to the laws and regulations.  Do not wait for the hunting accidents about to happen!  This is essential for hunting safety.
